Terms & Conditions

Standard Rental Duration — All rental items are booked for a standard period of 3 days:

• Day 1: Pickup / Delivery
• Day 2: Event Day
• Day 3: Return

Extensions — If you require items for a longer duration, please contact us at least 48 hours before your rental start date. Extensions are subject to availability and additional rental charges.

A refundable security deposit is required for every rental item. The deposit amount varies based on the value and category of the jewellery or outfit rented.

The security deposit will be refunded within 1–2 business days after the item is returned, inspected, and approved.

Customers may be required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, etc.) before rental items are handed over.

Daksha Rentals & Jewels reserves the right to refuse rentals if verification requirements are not met.

Inspection — Every jewellery piece and outfit is carefully inspected and photographed before delivery. Customers are encouraged to inspect items upon receipt.

Normal Wear & Tear — Minor issues such as loose threads, minor hook adjustments, or normal usage wear will not affect the security deposit.

Major Damage — If an item is returned with significant damage, including but not limited to: deep stains, fabric tears, broken jewellery components, missing stones, water damage, or burn marks — the repair cost may be deducted from the security deposit.

Loss or Irreparable Damage — If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the customer shall be responsible for paying the full replacement value of the item.

Alterations — Customers are not permitted to cut fabric, permanently stitch or alter garments, iron delicate materials, or modify jewellery components. Any unauthorized alteration may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

Upon receiving the rental item, customers are required to record a clear and uninterrupted opening video while opening the package for the first time.

Any claims regarding missing items, incorrect products, damaged products, missing accessories, or packaging issues must be supported by the original opening video.

Claims submitted without a valid opening video may not be eligible for investigation, replacement, refund, or compensation.

The video must clearly show:

• The sealed package before opening
• The complete unboxing process
• All items received inside the package

This policy helps protect both the customer and Daksha Rentals & Jewels by ensuring transparency during delivery.

All rental items must be returned along with any original packaging, jewellery boxes, pouches, tags, and accessories provided at the time of delivery. Missing items or accessories may result in additional charges.

Rentals are booked for the Event Day. The product must be returned the next day after the event. If the item is not returned on time, a late fee of 40% of the rental amount per delayed day will be charged. For example, on a ₹1,000 rental: 1 day late = ₹400, 2 days late = ₹800, 3 days late = ₹1,200. Late fees may be deducted from the security deposit.

Outfits & Frocks — Please do not wash, dry-clean, or attempt to clean rental garments yourself. Professional cleaning and sanitization are included in the rental fee.

Jewellery — All jewellery items are sanitized and polished before dispatch. Please avoid direct exposure to perfumes, hair sprays, makeup products, harsh chemicals, and excessive moisture.

Actual colours, designs, embroidery, stones, embellishments, and product details may vary slightly from website images due to photography lighting, device screen settings, or manufacturing variations. Such minor variations shall not be considered defects and do not qualify for refunds or cancellations.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the rented items in good condition throughout the rental period. Daksha Rentals & Jewels shall not be responsible for damage caused after delivery due to mishandling, negligence, improper storage, or misuse of rental products.

By placing a rental order with Daksha Rentals & Jewels, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
